Terms of Service

1. The Service

The Service is a companion tool that reads vehicle state and forwards vehicle commands through the Tesla account you connect, and provides voice prompts and an AI assistant. It is not an official Tesla, Inc. product and is neither affiliated with nor endorsed by Tesla. We may add or change features as operations and technology require.

2. Accounts

• Buying the in-app subscription creates an account without a separate sign-up. Web accounts are created with an e-mail address and may require our approval.
• You are responsible for your devices, sessions, API keys and guest links, and for the consequences of sharing them. Anyone holding a guest link can run the commands it allows.
• You may delete your account in the app at any time; data is then handled under the Privacy Policy.

3. Paid service, payment and refunds

• Pro is a monthly auto-renewing subscription billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play; pricing, renewal and cancellation follow the store's policies. Cancel in the store's "Manage Subscriptions"; it renews until you do.
• Refunds for App Store / Google Play purchases follow the respective store's refund policy and process; we do not refund directly outside the store. Statutory withdrawal and refund rights that cannot be waived remain unaffected.
• Without Pro the app offers on-device features and pre-generated voice prompts; server-side vehicle commands, live vehicle data and AI features require Pro. AI features have daily and monthly usage limits against abuse.

4. Your responsibility for vehicle control and driving guidance

• Vehicle commands (locks, windows, climate, charging, navigation, …) are forwarded to the Tesla API at your request as a convenience; you are responsible for checking whether and how they executed and for the resulting situation.
• Do not operate the device while driving. Voice features, routes and enforcement-camera / speed information are reference aids only; compliance with traffic law and safe driving are solely the driver's responsibility, and we do not warrant that such information is accurate, complete or current.
• Tesla API limits (rate limits, vehicle sleep, firmware requirements), vehicle state and connectivity can delay or fail commands.

5. Restrictions

You must not, and we may restrict, suspend or terminate accounts (with prior notice, or subsequent notice in urgent cases) that:

• access or attempt to access vehicles, accounts, keys or guest links that are not yours;
• place excessive or abnormal load on the Service or on Tesla, Apple, Google or Kakao systems, including through automation;
• reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble the software or circumvent its security measures;
• submit forged or altered purchase data or receipts, or otherwise violate the law or these terms.

6. Changes to and discontinuation of the Service

We may change or discontinue all or part of the Service for operational or technical reasons, with prior notice of the scope and timing in the Service or on this page; where urgent or unavoidable (outages, third-party shutdowns) notice may follow afterwards. Remaining paid periods are handled under the store's policies and applicable law.

7. Disclaimer of warranties and limitation of liability

• The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent permitted by law we make no express or implied warranty of accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose or uninterrupted availability.
• We are not liable for damage caused by outages, policy or API changes, account suspensions or other acts of third-party services such as Tesla, Apple, Google or Kakao, by network failures, force majeure or other causes beyond our reasonable control.
• To the extent permitted by law we are not liable for indirect, special or consequential damage or lost profits, and where we are liable our aggregate liability is limited to the amounts you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
• These limits do not apply to damage caused by our wilful misconduct or gross negligence or to liability that cannot be limited by law.

8. Intellectual property

The Service, its software, design, voice data and marks (RoadBud, TeslaSwift) belong to us; you may use them only to use the Service. "Tesla" is a trademark of Tesla, Inc., used for identification only.

9. Changes to these terms

We may amend these terms within the limits of applicable law, announcing the effective date and the reasons at least 7 days in advance (30 days for material or unfavourable changes) in the Service or on this page. Continued use after the effective date without objection constitutes acceptance; otherwise stop using the Service and delete your account.

10. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms and any dispute about the Service are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. The Seoul Central District Court is the agreed court of first instance, without prejudice to mandatory consumer venue rules.
